Vadim Lyubashevsky

Dr. Vadim Lyubashevsky is a cryptographer at IBM Research – Zurich. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego with a thesis on building efficient, provably secure cryptographic functions based on the hardness of lattice problems. He was then a post-doctoral researcher in the Foundations of Computing group at Tel-Aviv University until 2010, followed by 5 years as a researcher working at Inria, Paris in the cryptography group of the Ecole Normale Superieure. He was recently awarded a European Research Council grant for further research on lattice-based cryptography.
